MESSAGE FROM THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Robin Tillotson

February 2010

The Book of Isaiah states “Behold I will do a new thing.”  This new year 2010 is our opportunity to reassess what we do, how we do it and what we say.

We can choose to do the same thing in the same way; we can choose to harbor grudges, and we can choose to keep complaining about the same old thing.  If we are not careful, we will find ourselves expecting different results while we make no changes – this is, if you think about it, utter insanity!

Let 2010 be the year that you try something new and make a pact that since life is good, you will expect only good!

Everyday that we wake up is another opportunity to start afresh and listen to the voice of God who most certainly has a purpose for you.  No matter what our age is, how much or little we started out with or what we lacked in our childhoods, “Behold I will do a new thing.”   The lost years of locusts can and will be restored.  If we allow it!

Make a list of any and everything that you have been wanting to do – everything you have made excuses for not doing and blaming others for preventing you from doing.

Stay open for the newness of life and watch your world manifest in beauty and love.

The entire Atlas staff wishes you an abundant year filled with all the things that come with your birthright!!

Thank you to Jennie Betton at U.S. Bank for the donation of children's books to be given to our grandparents who are raising grandchildren at Grandfamilies Program of Chicago.  You are a blessing!

In Oneness,
Robin

HETTIE BRIDGES RETIRES
AFTER 26 YEARS OF SERVICE

HETTIE BRIDGES WITH THE CAFETERIA STAFF

Neighborhoods Alive With Seniors Tribute

I have met some wonderful people through my social networks, and one person that God sent to me is Pastor Peter Grasso with Terra Global Ministries International. I have never met him face to face, I have only communicated with him via one telephone conversation.

However, one thing is for sure, we apparently know each other in the Spirit. Once Brother Peter and I connected, he became interested in my work with the elderly. Because he has a heart for seniors, Brother Peter graciously offered to produced a You Tube Video in tribute to the staff members who diligently and tirelessly work with our seniors at the Atlas Senior Center in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to meeting Brother Peter, my prayer had been to make our center more visible to the public, including those who work with and serve seniors around the globe. Scripture says, “Before they call, I will answer”, and in His special way, God brought my dream to fruition through his servant Peter Grasso. Thank you so much, Peter!

Please immerse yourself in the spirit, the music and the love inherent in this video and remember –”Blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God (Deuteronomy 28:2).
